Bed is probably from the 1950's. Frame fits around a metal bed frame, or you can go back to using slats (not included). Mismatched old mattress set comes with the bed. No bedding provided. The bed still looks good, is structurally sound, but does have wear consistant with it's age. There is some cat scratch marring on one post, but not real bad. Wood is beautiful and a light natural colour.
